A newborn always attract many visitors, but it is important to decline visitors who are ill or under the weather, as a baby’s immune system may not be developed enough to resist certain germs.  It is also recommended that all visitors who wish to touch the baby wash their hands thoroughly in advance, so that the chance of germs and bacteria passing onto the baby is reduced.
