Wonder Wraps Builds Hundred-Million Dollar Production Plant
It was announced today that Wonder Wraps, Marvel Group Holding Limited’s (MGHL) flagship children’s diaper brand, has completed the latest phase of its production facility expansion, and operations begun on 7th November 2017.
MGHL, a Hong Kong-based company, and its subsidiary Jiangxi Marvel Consumer Products Company Limited, was established in 2012, with core operations focusing on the production of quality paper-based consumer products. Investment to date totals RMB200 million, which includes a 12,000 square meter sealed, dust-free assembly department. With 5 state-of-the-art production machinery, monthly production has reached 100 million pieces. By August 2020, MGHL projects to have 9 production lines in place, to satisfy the market’s increasing demands for MGHL’s products.
MGHL director Ray Want states that, as China’s one-child policy relaxes, the need for children’s diapers has exploded, and MGHL’s current monthly capacity of 100 million pieces is struggling to match demand. As a result, MGHL has begun its expansion plan of introducing at least one new production line per quarter, budgeting approximately RMB 100 million to this project.
In line with MGHL’s strategy, it has introduced two new production lines this quarter: one full-servo diaper pants line and one training pants line. Both machines are state-of-the-art and is a substantial upgrade on previous machines in terms of accuracy, consistency and reliability. Most importantly, its dramatic increase in production speed (up to 600 pieces per minute) will contribute to MGHL’s rapid expansion plans.
Besides increasing production capacity, MGHL has also invested heavily in its research and development, laboratory, technical expertise and, most importantly, human resources, to maintain its competitiveness in the market. This investment has already yielded early dividends, with MGHL’s introduction of new innovations and patents such as our use of argan oil in diapers as well as unique liquid distribution channels. As Wonder Wraps operates on a quality-first basis, its mandate is to products with high quality, after which pricing factors in. With the recent emergence of several fraudulent companies, Wonder Wraps’ unquestionable quality will continue to be every mother’s choice.
Wonder Wraps currently distributes to 20 provinces in China, covering approximately 150 cities and over 100,000 retail points, with plans to penetrate supermarket chains soon. Concurrently, Wonder Wraps has launched its e-commerce (with flagship stores on both TMall and JD.com) and mini-distribution businesses, to allow consumers easier access to our products. As part of its overseas expansion, MGHL has also accelerated its OEM business development, with fruitful early results.
