If you see any signs of diaper rash on your baby, take the immediate simple but effective steps:
- Constantly check on the diaper
- Frequently change used diapers
- Always change a baby’s diaper before the baby sleeps
- Always wash the baby thoroughly with clean water around the genital areas when changing diapers, NOT wet wipes
- Apply a very thin layer of lotion. Too much will result in the baby’s pores being suffocated
- Be sure to expose all of the baby’s skin to sunlight for a certain period of time every day
